Dominick Gullo Esq. graduated 5th in his Class from The City University of New York in 1991 earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Economics.  He attended Brooklyn Law School earning his Juris Doctor in 1994. While matriculating at Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Gullo served two summer internships at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Gullo wrote for the Journal of Law and Policy and was a founding member of the Italian American Law Students Association at Brooklyn Law School.  He authored IALSA’s first Constitution and By-Laws while serving as Chairman.  
Upon graduating Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Gullo entered the Kings County District Attorney’s Office as a line assistant in the Fall Class of 1994.  As a young attorney, he had the good fortune to come under the tutelage of some of the best trial attorneys in our Country.  As a new Assistant District Attorney, he met Arthur Aidala, Esq. and began a twenty year friendship.  Mr. Gullo quickly rose to Senior Trial Attorney in the DA’s Office and prosecuted cases ranging from DWI to complex homicides. 
Mr. Gullo entered private practice in late 2000 and brought his skill and comfort in the courtroom litigating cases in the areas of personal injury and automobile insurance law.  He has represented insurance carriers such as New York Central Mutual, Auto One, Zurich and Kemper Auto and Home in the area of No-Fault litigation.  While doing so, Mr. Gullo was instrumental in making law utilized daily in the practice of No-Fault litigation today.  Using his expertise honed as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, he worked closely with insurance investigators and litigated against complex professional fraud rings.  He co-authored a professional practice article published in the New York Law Journal on the use of Civil RICO in the automobile insurance industry.  During this time, Mr. Gullo also litigated bodily injury cases for injured clients and various commercial litigations. 
Mr. Gullo co-founded Cassandra & Gullo, PLLC in 2010 with his former law school classmate Jennifer M. Cassandra, Esq.  They combined their individual talents to form a successful law firm in the areas of criminal law, insurance litigation representing medical providers prosecuting No-Fault actions against auto insurance carriers, bodily injury actions, commercial litigations and family and matrimonial law. Mr. Gullo’s courtroom expertise makes him a formidable adversary on behalf of our clients.  He works closely with Ms. Cassandra in cases involving domestic violence, orders of protection and child custody where his criminal expertise provides an edge most family law attorney’s lack.
Throughout his career Mr. Gullo has worked intimately with Mr. Aidala as of counsel and is excited to be working with him as his partner.  Mr. Gullo is admitted to the Supreme Courts of the States of New York and New Jersey and the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  Mr. Gullo is a member of various associations including the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Richmond County Bar Association and The Columbian Lawyers Association.
