Woman taken into custody after crashing into a pole

A 31-year-old New York woman was taken into custody after she crashed her car into a pole on Springville Road in Hampton Bays. Southampton police say that the car was the only one involved in the accident and that no one was injured. After making contact with the woman, police determined that she was under the influence of alcohol.

New York assault charges stem from diverse incidents
